  2、Safety Requirements and Solutions

  2.1Design ideas of bellows stop valve:

  Bellows shut-off valve as a conventional valve because it is widely used without considering each specific condition;

  such bellows globe valve is used as the standard product BS1873, API602 design, and enjoys sufficient strength in accordance with the temperature and pressure rating ASME B16.34.

  The valve has different sealing surface materials according to API600 according to the corrosion and abrasion of different kinds of media;

  ;This bellows stop valve does not contain a light metal (eg., magnesium) and all parts are electrically conductive and connected together to prevent the source of combustion.

  There are handwheel drive, gear drive or electric drive, etc. depending on valve size, torque and operating requirements.

  2.2 Precautions for bellows stop valve

  2.2.1 General

  2.2.1.1 In any case, the safety of personnel shall be guaranteed first;

  2.2.1.2 This valve shall be usedaccording to the temperature and pressure rating ASME B16.34.

  2.2.1.3 It shall ensure that the selected materials resist corrosion and abrasion of medium;

  2.2.1.4 Working temperature shall be limited when medium is flammable and explosive;

  2.2.1.5 In the repair / maintenance process, it shall ensure that the valve is always in the state of pressure relief, venting and draining;

  2.2.1.6 For power-driven valve, ensure that power system (power, gas, liquid) is disconnected before any operation;

  2.2.1.7 Appropriate precautions, such as protective clothing, oxygen masks, gloves, etc. should be used during the repair / maintenance process.

  Duringthe repair / maintenance process, no smoking, and no open fire without proper work permit at the site. ;

  2.2.1.9 Valve must be regularly checked;

  Whether bolts/nuts connection isfastening (body/cover, pressure plate, flange connection) ;

  Corrosion/wear hazard (impact, pitting, reduction in thickness) ;

  The valve is fully open/fully closed.
