Detailed Description:            
     The fixed ball valve, the flange gate valve, the flange butterfly valve and the oxygen reducing valve are the valves of the same type, the difference is that the closing part of it is a sphere, and the ball is rotated around the center line of the valve to reach the opening and closing of a valve. Ball valves are mainly used in the pipeline for cutting, distributing and changing the flow direction of media . Ball valve is a new type of valve widely adopted in recent years.

      A,Fixed ball valves have the following advantages:

  1.Fluid resistance is small ,and resistance coefficient of fluid is equal to that of the same length.

  2.Simple structure, small volume and light weight.

  3.Compact and reliable ,now the sealing surface material of ball valve is widely used in plastic and has good sealing performance,and is widely adopted in vacuum system .

  4.Easy to operate, open and close quickly, from fully open to fully closed as long as 90 & deg rotation, it is convenient for remote control.

  5.The maintenance is convenient, the ball valve structure is simple, the sealing ring is generally active, the disassembly and replacement is convenient.

  6.When fully open or fully closed, the sealing surface of the ball and valve seat is isolated from the medium. When the medium passing through, it will not cause erosion of the sealing surface of the valve.

  7.The scope of application is wide, the diameter is from small to a few millimeters, large to several meters, and it can be applied from high vacuum to high pressure. When the ball is rotated 90 degrees, the spherical surface shall be fully presented at the inlet and outlet, thus cuting off the flow.

  B. The working principle of fixed ball valve is as follows:

  一、Opening process

  1.In the closed position, the ball is pressed by the valve stem of the [wiki] machine [wiki],pressed against the seat.

  .2When turning the handwheel anticlockwise, the valve stem moves in the opposite direction and its bottom corner of the disc causes the sphere to unseat.

  3.The valve stem continues to lift and interacts with the guide pin in the helical groove of the stem so that the ball rotates without friction.

  4.To the fully open position, the stem lifts to the limit position and the ball rotates to the fully open position.

  C  fixed ball valve closing process

  1.When closing, rotate the handwheel clockwise,and the stem begins to drop and the ball rotates away from the seat.

  2. Continue to rotate the handwheel, the valve stem is engaged by the guide pin embedded in the groove of its upper spiral groove, make the valve stem and the ball are simultaneously rotated 90 & deg.

  3.The ball has rotated 90 & deg without contact with the seat shortly before closing.

  4.In the last few laps of the handwheel, the angular plane at the bottom of the valve stem is mechanically wedged into the oppressing sphere so that it is pressed tightly against the valve seat to complete the seal.

  D Structure characteristics of fixed ball valve:

  1.Open and close with no-friction. This function fully solves the problem of the traditional [wiki] valve [wiki] , which affects the seal by the friction between the sealing surfaces.

  2.Assembly structure. The valves installed on the pipeline can be directly inspected and repaired on line, which can effectively reduce the parking and reduce the cost.

  3.Single seat design. The problem that the cavity medium in the valve is affected by abnormal pressure boosting is eliminated.

  4.Low torque design. Special structural design of the valve stem, only with a small hand wheel valve can be easily opened and closed.

  5.Wedge-shaped seal structure. The valve is the mechanical force provided by the valve stem to seal the ball wedge against the valve seat, so that the tightness of the valve is not affected by the change of the pressure difference of the pipeline, and the sealing performance of the valve is guaranteed under various operating conditions

  6.elf-cleaning structure of sealing surface. When the ball is tilted away from the valve seat, the fluid in the pipeline will be 360 & deg along the sealing surface of the sphere; Even through will not only eliminate the local erosion of the high-speed fluid to the valve seat, but also wash away the accumulated material on the sealing surface to achieve self-cleaning purposes.
